About the Speakers

Carol Varano

Director of Customer Enablement & Documentation at Trintech, Inc

Carol Varano is a learning and development professional with more than 15 years of experience in adult learning theory, instructional design, technical training, training program strategy and management, and learning management systems. She is a proven leader who drives companies forward in standardizing and scaling learning solutions across multiple platforms in various industries.

Carol currently serves as the Director of Customer Enablement & Documentation at Trintech, Inc. She leads a team of instructional designers, technical trainers, and technical writers to create and iterate learning solutions for Trintech’s products serving various audiences. As a manager, she focuses on helping her team develop professionally while serving the learning needs of customers, partners, and internal team members.

Carol executed an eight-week summer internship program for K-12 teachers for the last two years. Through this internship program, Carol and her team coached teachers on instructional design concepts and best practices while providing them with hands-on experience creating training content for Trintech’s products.

Caroline Hain

Instructional Designer & eLearning Developer

As a former educator turned instructional designer and eLearning developer, Caroline Hain is skilled in designing and developing learning solutions that engage, motivate, and improve employee performance. She also brings a passion for solving problems and making learning fun, relative, and long-lasting.

In addition to the skills she honed as a former high school social studies teacher, Caroline has a master’s degree in instructional design and technology. Using this unique background, she specializes in working collaboratively with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to design and develop training for various types of modalities, including eLearning, instructor-led training (ILT), and virtual instructor-led training (vILT).

When not working, Caroline is a military spouse, mom, and avid reader who enjoys traveling and spending time with her 4-year-old and 2-year-old children.

Ivana Prochazka

Former Teacher Transitioning to Instructional Designer

Ivana Prochazka is a former educator of five years from Houston, TX. Over the past year, Ivana has been dedicated to bridging the gap in her experience between K12 and corporate instructional design. By mastering the tools of the trade, like Articulate Storyline and Camtasia, Ivana has diligently been building her online portfolio to highlight her skills.

Ivana enjoys working in a quick-paced environment that involves a lot of collaboration and problem-solving. She is a lifelong learner and is consistently focused on attending workshops, reading, and building collaborative relationships and partnerships.

Currently, she has a private tutoring business to allow her the flexibility to focus on her career growth.
